Mathewman next month, and the engagement of Miss Elizabeth Chase Greene of Bronxville to Dr. Rolf Kroll, second son of the Oscar Krolls. is announced. The season for benefit bridges is reaching its height with at least four planned for the next few weeks. The Monday Afternoon Afternoon Club and the Continental Chapter, DAR, will give luncheon bridges, the JLoyal Daughters Circle is planning a bridge tea and the League for the Hard of Hearing will hold an evening: party. On the schedule for next week is S. K. Ratcliffe at the Monday Monday Afternoon Club, a tea for the benefit of the British Relief at the home of Mrs. Thomas S. P. Fitch, a meeting and tea of the Parents' League of the Hartridge School Wednesday, and the annual Twig Luncheon Friday at the Plainfield Country Club.
