United States Civil Service Commission has announced open competitive examinations for the positions of chief engineering draftsman and principal engineering draftsman, for work on ships. The annual salaries for these positions are $2,600 and $2,300, respectively. Optional branches are: Marine engines and boilers, and electrical (ship). Applications must be on file with the U.

S. Civil Service Commission at Washington, D. not later than Jan. 6, 1936. Certain specified education and experience are required for these positions.
