"He loved making people laugh." David N. Rasmussen, investment counselor HILLSBOROUGH David N. Rasmussen, 27, died Friday (Sept.

19, 1997). Born in Porak, West Malaysia, Mr. Rasmussen had lived in Neshanic. He received his elementary and secondary education in Montgomery, graduating in 1988. He participated in high school varsity tennis and cross country.

In 1984 he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y., majoring in Psychology and Business with a minor in Economics. He attended the Atlantic School of Insurance in Piscataway, receiving a license in Life, Health, and He was previously employed by Prudential Insurance Cranbury, and United Jersey in Hackensack. Most recently, he was a licensed investment counselor with Marketing One in New Jersey. He was pursuing his master's degree in business at Rider University.

He did extensive traveling which included the Far East and Europe. In 1995, 1 he was awarded top producer in finance from United Jersey Bank. Surviving are his parents, Arne and Meta Rasmussen of Belle Mead; and a sister and brother-in-law, AnneMargrethe and Eric Van Rons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Montgomery United Methodist Church in Belle Mead.

Mueller, 53, died Friday (Sept. 19, 1997) at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Newark, Miss Mueller had lived in East Orange and Gillette before moving to Cedar Glen Lakes in Whiting 10 years ago. She was employed at PACO in Lakewood for the past 10 years. Before that, she worked at Burroughs in Warren Township for 22 years.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Whiting. Surviving are her parents, Walter and Helen Rusycki Mueller of Whiting; two brothers, Walter E. of Morris Township and Robert A. of Martinsville; six nieces and nephews; and a friend, George Nemchick of Piscataway.

Orban had lived in Pittstown for 30 years, in Seminole, for another 30 years before moving to Glen Gardner three years ago. Her husband, Joseph Orban, died in 1956; a son, Joseph Orban died in 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Shepperd of Pittstown; six grandand children, seven great four great-great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington.

Mrs. Kargol was a lifelong resident of Manville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville and a member of the Association to Improve Benefits. Her husband, John Kargol, died in 1971. Surviving are a son, John Kargol of Manville; daughter, Janice Schuyler of Clinton; four sisters, Lilian Cichon of Manville, Ann Bright of New Brunswick, Mary Miller of Somerset and Helen Medash of Bridgewater; and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Monday at Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville. Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Manville. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 p.m.

18, 1997) at home here. Born in Cleveland, Mrs. Hanson had lived in South Plainfield for the past 60 years. She was a secretary for the former Cornell-Dublier in South Plainfield until the company merged with Federal Pacific in Newark where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in South Plainfield.

Her husband, Bernard Hanson, died in 1973. Surviving are three sisters, Ann Petti of Rocky Point, N.Y., Palma Mezza of South Plainfield, Elizabeth Pitchford of Flemington; a niece and nephew. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at James Conroy Funeral Home in South Plainfield, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield.

Monday at Gowen Funeral Home in New Brunswick. Anna Pesa Grimaldi, 92, great-grandmother of 10 SCOTCH PLAINS Anna Pesa Grimaldi, 92, died Thursday (Sept. 18, 1997) at her daughter-in-law's home. Born in Italy, she moved to the United States in 1923. She had lived in New York City before moving to Scotch Plains in 1975.

She worked for Amalgamated Union in New York City for 40 years, retiring in 1965. She worked as a grammar school teacher in Italy. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains and the Scotch Plains Meridians. Her husband, Antonio Grimaldi, died in 1983. A son, Remo Grimaldi, died in 1991.

Surviving are a daughter, Gemma Grimaldi Abbate of New York; her daughter-in-law, Joan Grimaldi of Scotch Plains, with whom she lived; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Rossi Funeral Home in Scotch Plains, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m.

He lived in Baltimore before moving to Bridgewater in 1992. He was a self-employed stone mason. He was a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Raritan. Surviving are four daughters, Patti Dee of Dunnellon, Francine Salerno of Bridgewater, Jackie Roback of Citrus Springs, Fla. and Yolanda Arroyo of Thousand Oaks, six sisters, Francis DiSantostefono, Dena Strauss, Mary Smith, Rose Lombardo, Elena Cunningham and Yolanda Groves, all of Baltimore; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Scarpa Funeral Home in North Plainfield, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m.

18, 1997) of injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident in Bridgewater. Born in Livingston, he had lived in Edison before moving to Hillsborough in 1984. He was a student at Raritan Valley Community College. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Surviving are his parents, Stan and Josephine Kominek of Hillsborough; a brother, Thomas of Hillsborough; a sister, Julie of Hillsborough; his paternal grandmother, Stella Kominek of Irvington; his maternal grandparents, Waclaw and Lydia Swilo of Poland; and his godmother, Eve Swilo of Poland.

Levy, 52, died Thursday (Sept. 18, 1997) at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Manalapan before moving to Alexandria 17 years ago. He was a chemical engineer at BASF Corp. in Washington.

Surviving are his wife, Ann Bottiglieri Levy; a daughter, Nicolle Levy of Alexandria; a son, Barry of Alexandria; and a brother, Theodore of Englishtown. Mandell owned Sunoco station Milton F. Mandell, 74, died Thursday (Sept. 18, 1997) in Tuckerton. Born in New York City, he had lived in Matawan, Keyport and Bound Brook before moving to Titusville, Fla. He owned the Matawan Sunoco station in Matawan during the 1960s.

He was a Navy veteran, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Florida chapter, and a life member of Chapter 16, Somerville. His first wife, Irene Bogano, died in 1972. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Kerchner of Titusville, a son, Andrew J. Mandell of l'uckerton; a sister, Doris VanOrden of Bridgewater; and three grandchildren.
