TUESDAY, JULY 16, 1991 Doris M. DeNicola, 60 EDISON Doris M. Coffey DeNicola died yesterday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 60. She was born in Highland Park and lived in Edison and New Brunswick before returning to Edison in 1952.

She was a communicant of St. Theresa's R.C. Church. A brother, Francis E. Coffey, died July 3.

Surviving are her husband, Frank A. DeNicola two sons, William J. of Old Bridge and Frank A. Jr. of Edison; two daughters, Deborah A.

Laszlo of Highland Park and Maryanne Lehman of Milltown; two brothers, Clayton Coffey of Spotswood and Robert Coffey of Middlesex; three sisters, Mary Richter of Normandy Beach, Rita Burke of New Brunswick and Jane Kosko of Somerset, and four grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Theresa's Church.

Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Joseph R. Ferraro, 70 SAYREVILLE Joseph R. Fer- raro of the Parlin section died Sunday at St.

Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 70. He was born in Newark and lived in Parlin since 1954. Mr. Ferraro was an inspector: at Underwriters Laboratories in Rutherford for more than 40 years before retiring in 1988.

Mr. Ferraro was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary's 1 R.C. Church in South Amboy.

He was a member of the Tamarak Senior Golf Association in East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Merlino Ferraro; two daughters, Christine Wyckoff of Brielle and Rosanne Candito of Lebanon; a son, John of Jacksonville, two brothers, Vincent "Jim" of the Colonia section of Woodbridge and Anthony of Little Falls; two sisters, Sue Skwirut and Grace Tuscano, both of Bellville, and two grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by a 9:30 a.m.

Mass at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick. Arrangements are by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin.

Lacey Green, 59 NORTH BRUNSWICK Lacey Green died Sunday at the Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh after a long illness. He was 59. Born in Fouke, he lived in Fairfax, before moving to North Brunswick 27 years ago. Mr. Green was a vice president of Kinney Shoe Corp.

He had served in the Army. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Jane Carraway Green; a son, Mark of Los Altos, a daughter, Jennifer Nastelin of Canton, a brother, the Rev. Boyce of Texas, and a grandson. Services will be Thursday at 11 at the Assembly of God Church.

Rowe, 80 MONROE Helen P. Pasnik Rowe died Sunday at the Medical Center at Princeton. She was 80. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in the Bronx, N.Y., and Queens, N.Y., before moving to the Concordia section of Monroe in 1983. She graduated from New York University in 1931.

Mrs. Rowe was a high school teacher with the New York City Board of Education for 40 years before retiring in 1971. A member of the Retired Teachers Association, she was a volunteer at Monroe Township High School. She was a member of the N.J. Council Jewish Women and B'Nai B'rith of Concordia.

She was a delegate to the Resident's Association of Concordia. Her husband, Henry, died in 1984. Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie Heyman of West Windsor and Bonnie Marmor of Franklin Lakes; a brother, Joel Pasnik of Roslyn, N.Y.; a sister, Betty Kaplan of White Plains, N.Y., and a granddaughter. Services will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick.

Burial will be at Mount Eden Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. Chew died Saturday at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. She was 85. She was born in Minotola and lived in Woodbury before moving to Bridgeton 24 years ago. Mrs.

Chew was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton M. Chew. Surviving are a niece, Carlyn E. Onoszko of Dunellen, with whom she had been staying, and a nephew.

Wagenbach died Sunday at Meridian Nursing Home. She was 88. She was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Linden, N.J., for 60 years and in Wilmington, for five years before moving to Ormond Beach in 1990. Her husband, Harry, died in 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Joy Robinson of Ormond Beach, and several nieces and nephews in South Plainfield, N.J.

Anderson, 60 BRANCHBURG Iris L. Nash Anderson died Sunday at University of Pennsylania Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 60. She was born in Philomath, and lived in Dallas, Texas, before moving to the Neshanic Station section of Branchburg five years ago. She was a member of the Bridgewater Women's Club and of the 18 Hole Club at the Copper Hill Country Club in Ringoes.

An avid bridge player, she belonged to many local bridge clubs. Surviving are her husband, James two sons, Mark of Belle Mead and Thomas of Walkersville, a brother, Walter Nash of Louisville, and four grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Manville. Burial will be at the Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgewater Women's Club, the Anderson family. Daniel J. McAvoy, 67 Sunday at home. He was 67. Born in Scotland, he came to the United States when he was 6 years old.

He lived in Edison from 1958 until 1986, when he moved to Effort. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the North African and European theaters. Mr. McAvoy was employed by National Can in Edison for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Edison, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Mr. McAvoy was a communicant of St. Matthew's R.C. Church. in Edison.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; three sons, Daniel Jr. of Matawan, N.J., David of Edison and Steven of Metuchen, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Linda Bower of Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Richard Brenner of Virginia and Michael Brenner of Effort; a sister, Mary Bowel of Pennsylvania, and 15 grandchildren. He was born Oct. 5, 1990, in New Brunswick. Surviving are his parents, David and Marci Robins Kessler of Edison; his maternal grandmother, Elaine Robins of Marlboro; his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Libby Kessler of New Milford, and his great-grandmother, Anna Goldberg of Marlboro. Katherine Sadeik, 82 SPOTSWOOD Katherine Sa- deik died Saturday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 82. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived there before moving to Spotswood 20 years ago. Mrs. Sadeik was an operator at Physicians Answering Service in Newark for 14 years.

She was a member of the Spotswood Senior Citizens and the Daughters of America in Spotswood. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church. Her husband, William Sadeik, died in 1970. Surviving are three daughters, Maryann Kopitske of Spotswood, Patricia Bresser of Hammondsport, N.Y., and Kathleen Hye of Freehold; two sisters, Helen Nolan and Winifred Folsey, both of Springfield; 15 grandchildren, and 21 greatgrandchildren.

Kenneth J. Deiner, 64 BRICKTOWN Kenneth J. Elizabeth Hohweiler, 70 SOUTH BRUNSWICK Eliza- beth Harris Hohweiler of the Kendall Park section died yesterday at St. Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick. She was 70.

Born in Baltimore, she lived most of her life in Irvington before moving to Kendall Park four years ago. Mrs. Hohweiler had been employed in the packaging department of Bristol-Myers in Hillside. She retired in 1983 after 28 years with the firm. Her husband, Albert, died in 1963.

Surviving are a daughter, Hazel Gould of Kendall Park; a son, Ronald Harris of Cramden Lakes; a brother, Francis Harris of the Neshanic Station section Hillsborough, and six grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Frank Mohr, 76 OCEAN BEACH Frank Mohr died Sunday at Point Pleasant Hopital.

He was 76. He was born in Rahway and lived there before moving to Dover in 1981. He was a collector and meter reader for Elizabethtown Gas Co. in Elizabeth. He was a member of the Rahway Volunteer Fire Co.

and of the Exempt Firemen of Rahway. Surviving are his wife, Annette Burak Mohr; a daughter, Dorothy Zaleske of South River; three grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. Christopher Mulvaney NORTH BRUNSWICK Christopher J. Mulvaney died Friday at home. He was 74. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in the New Brunswick area since 1955. Mr.

Mulvaney joined Smith Soloman Trucking Company in New Brunswick as a dispatcher in 1955. He retired in 1980. A member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1329 in New Brunswick, he served as its treasurer. Surviving are five nieces and nephews and his long-time companion, Reidun Smith of the Dayton section of South Brunswick. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m.

at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton New Brunswick. Burial will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.

Stephen Shepard, 41 PISCATAWAY Stephen Shep- ard died Sunday at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville after a long illness. He was 41. He was born in Edison and lived in Piscataway most of his life. He was a carpenter at Union Carbide in Piscataway for many years. Mr.

Shepard was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church. His father, Chauncey died in 1990. Surviving are his mother, Laetitia Shepard of Piscataway, and two brothers, Richard of San Diego, and Christopher, at home. Cremation was private.

Arrangements are by Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road. Deiner died Sunday at Point Pleasant Hospital. He was 64. He was born in New Brunswick and lived there most of his life before moving to Bricktown 18 years ago. Mr.

Deiner was a graduate of United Radio and Television Service School in Newark, the Allen B. Dumont Television, Service School at Jersey City State College, and the U.S. Navy Fire Fighting School in Sampson, N.Y. He was the owner of Deiner's Radio and Television Service in New Brunswick for 37 years before retiring in 1985. During World War II, he served as an aircraft spotter with the Air Warning Service, North Brunswick Station.

He was a courier with the Civilian Defense in New Brunswick and a member of the American Legion Post 348 in Brick. Former captain of the New Brunswick Fire Department, he was president of the department's Relief Association for 13 years before retiring in 1988. He had been an organizer of the department's Superior Officers Association AFLCIO. He was parade and general convention chairman for the N.J. State Exempt Firemen's Association in 1964.

He was a member of the Ocean County Retired Police and Firemen's Association. A member of the New Brunswick Elk's Lodge, Mr. Deiner was a past chairman of the lodge's House Committee. He was also a 4th degree member of the New Brunswick Knights of Columbus 257 and a member of the Brick Elks Lodge 2151. He was the organizer and past president of the Second Ward Citizens Democratic Club of New Brunswick and a member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee to the Board of Education.

Mr. Deiner was a member of the New Brunswick Rod and Gun Club and of the Ocean County Federation of Sportsman's Clubs. Past president of the Silverton Fishing Club, he was instrumental in starting big game fishing and the Family Crabbing Day at the club. He was past harbormaster and a N.J. State Marine patrolman in Point Pleasant.

Surviving his wife, Patricia Ann Bliss Deiner; a son, Kenneth W. of the Toms River section of Dover; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Kane of Bricktown, and a grandchild. Services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton New Brunswick, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart R.C.

Church in New Brunswick. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Helen Toth, 77 EDISON Helen Gralinsky Toth died Sunday at John F. Kennedy Medical Center.

She was 77. Mrs. Toth was born in New Brunswick and moved to Edison 34 years ago. She was a quality inspector at Revlon in Edison for 20 years before retiring in 1977. She was a communicant of St.

Matthew's R.C. Church. Her husband, Julius died in 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Eleanor Welding of Edison. Services will be Thursday at 8:45 a.m.
